Established in the early 1990s, the centre was founded by artist Maryjane L. D. Alefosio and family to nurture artistic growth in Samoa. It has since become a central figure in promoting Pacific art, traditional techniques, and cultural dialogue.
Designed to blend with its natural environment, the centre features open-air studios, rustic wood structures, and traditional Samoan motifs. The peaceful layout and earthy materials reflect both creativity and environmental harmony.
